Weight Watchers
The Weight Watchers' diet
plan is based on the FlexPoints program, which allots
a certain amount of points to a food item. You are allowed
a certain number of points per day based on your weight.
You can choose to eat whatever food you want, as long
as you stay within your points limit. The
Weight Watchers plan advocates exercise, and you can
earn extra points through exercising, which you can use
as you wish. The points are flexible, but you must keep
track of what you're eating in order for the weight loss
plan to work.
Weight
Watchers contends that the most successful tool to
loose weight are the meetings that they include in their
paid programs. This is where participants can share their
weight loss stories and receive support from fellow dieters.
If you can't attend the meetings, you can use their online
resources, but again, you have to pay to use this resource.
Weight Watchers also publishes a magazine that you can
read to learn more about the weight
loss program. For more information, visit: http://www.weightwatchers.com
